The HomeMart
Store
One
important way for Habitat to generate funds and serve the
community is through our resale store, the HomeMart.
Good quality used appliances, furniture, building
materials and housewares can be purchased at the HomeMart store at
substantial savings over comparable new goods.
The HomeMart is located at 14 Eagle's Court (Click
for Map), and is currently open to the public five days each
week. Not only does the store
produce cash flow to support our building effort, but the low-cost
goods available are often purchased by the same kind of families
we seek to assist. Just a few of the items for sale at the
HomeMart include:
-
Appliances
- washers, dryers, microwave ovens...
-
Electronics
- computers, stereos, TVs, telephones...
-
Furniture
- mattress sets, chairs, dressers...
-
Construction
Materials -
insulation, paint, light fixtures...
-
Household
Goods - books, toys, sporting
goods, kitchenware...
Donating
Items
Because this store is a crucial part of our fundraising effort, we
are always in need of used items in good condition to be resold. FREE
pickup of large items is available as well.
All donations must be in good working order. Building materials
should be in like new condition.
Remember, all goods donations are 100% tax deductible.
If you would like to donate items
or volunteer time to work in the HomeMart, please call the store
directly at 770-383-9054.
Please note that we do not
accept clothing or bedding at this time.
(The Salvation Army is located one block from our
HomeMart and they would be glad to take these items) |
